In many circumstances, the existing layout, or the condition of a building or premises, will not suit a new tenant. This report will include costing for any essential or desirable repairs. Alterations and Refurbishments Under most lease arrangements, tenants must obtain the consent of the landlord before altering or refurbishing premises and conform to all current planning and development requirements. By acting on behalf of landlords, we work with tenants to ensure that all works are in line with the necessary statutory requirements and that the tenants comply with their repair obligations. Our experience also allows us to act on behalf of tenants when they wish to carry out alterations to the premises. These changes may also require compliance with statutory regulations and planning.
